Game Releases for Week of February 28th, 2016


Mortal Kombat XL (XONE, PS4)

Mortal Kombat XL, which consists of the base game and both DLC Kombat Packs, will sell for $60 on Xbox One and PS4 when it launches on March 1. (It’s not coming to PC for reasons that have yet to be explained.) Kombat Pack 2, meanwhile, will sell for $20 on its own, $10 less than the first pack.

For those with the game but none of the DLC, the XL Pack will be available for $25; it consists of both Kombat Packs. Kombat Pack 2 consists of four new characters (Alien’s Xenomorph, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo’ Rai Cho), as well as Goro (previously available as a preorder bonus) and a number of character skins.

Heavy Rain (PS4)

Alekhines Gun (XONE, PS4, Windows)

An upcoming third-person stealth action video game set during the Cold War and World War II developed and published by Maximum Games. It follows the format of Death to Spies and its sequel Death to Spies: Moment of Truth, developed by Haggard Games and released in 2007 and 2009 respectively. The game features open maps with multiple methods to complete levels.
