2K Announces BioShock: The Collection

2K Games has officially announced BioShock: The Collection, an HD re-release of all three BioShock games in one package for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. BioShock and BioShock 2 will have remastered graphics, while BioShock Infinite will be ported as is, since it’s already pretty enough for next-gen standards. Multiplayer will not be available in BioShock 2, but the DLC packs for 2 and Infinite will be included, as well as a behind-the-scenes video series starring Ken Levine about the series’ development. 2K has also stated that if you own BioShock and BioShock 2 on Steam already, you will be able to upgrade them to the HD versions when the collection is released, free of charge (which I appreciate, because I do own all three games on Steam, and wouldn’t mind an excuse to play them again). BioShock: The Collection will release on September 13th, 2016 for $59.99.
