System Shock Remake Clears Kickstarter Goal

The remake of the cult classic System Shock by Nightdive Studios has just cleared its Kickstarter goal of $900,000 with seventeen days to spare. There are stretch goals in place, such as Mac and Linux versions, multi-language support, and additional locations with accompanying narratives to name a few, so with any luck, at least a couple of these goals will be met before the Kickstarter ends.

The game has already reserved a Steam page for the pre-alpha release, and you can download an early demo of the game right now if you visit it. The developers are shooting for a Holiday 2017 release window, with PC and Xbox One versions to release first.
