Collect-a-thon homage Yooka-Laylee has received a new gameplay trailer for the E3 season. In it, we see moments of combat, platforming, and all sorts of powers and abilities. In addition, the trailer reveals what Playtonic Games likes to call a “firm release window”: Q1 2017. In other words, the game will definitely release some time in the first few months of 2017, barring any disasters.
Have to say, I’m genuinely happy to see this game’s development going as well as it is. I loved Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64 when I was a lad, so this mess is like catnip to me.
