Call of Duty: Blacks Ops Compatible with Xbox One announced.


Call of Duty: Black Ops, long considered one of the best in the series, has finally arrived on the Xbox One backward captibility list, Microsoft announced today; More than six months after confirming that the title would be coming to the console’s Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibilty service.

If you own it digitally just go to your My Games & Apps section and it will be there for you to download, and if you own the actual DVD of it, just pop it in and install it that way. All released DLC for the game will carry over, so be sure to download that if you bought those as well.

If you don’t happen to own a copy of this game, if you never played it or sold it a long time ago, don’t fret. Microsoft is currently running a promotion that will allow you to purchase the game as a discounted price of just $10 if you are a Xbox Live Gold Member. If you haven’t already purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, you can purchase both games for just $29.99 if you’re a Gold Member. Microsoft is also running promotions for other Call of Duty titles as well, you can see them all here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops launched on Xbox 360, PS3, PC back in 2010. This year’s game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, arrives on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 4.
